How does Profit Manager help you achieve your profit goals?

Profit Manager determines the price per bushel needed to meet your profit goals and when it is most profitable to sell you bushels by easily organizing and tracking all the key data that impacts your operation's breakeven and profitability. Data is automatically loaded on your dashboard according to your crops and county so you can review and update your farming operation.

How is the price per bushel determined to meet your profit goals?

You define your profit per acre goal and Profit Manager calculates the price you need to sell your bushels to meet your profit goals. The per bushel price needed to achieve your profit goals is determined by comparing your profit goal per bushel to the average price received for your sold bushels and using your local elevator price for your unsold bushels. As you edit your information in Profit Manager, your profit goals will be updated and the price needed for your unsold bushels is adjusted.

How are you notified when your profit goal per bushel is met or exceed?

Daily, Profit Manager compares the price you need to sell your remaining bushels to achieve your profit goals to your CashMax Best Price. The CashMax Best Price is the best spot or forward contract price, net your storage and trucking costs. When your profit goal per bushel is met or exceeded, you are notified via your Growers Edge dashboard or text message, when and where you have the opportunity to sell your bushels.
